Fixed Rate Estimates

Fixed-rate estimates (FRE) work to protect the customer from additional costs as a result of unforeseen circumstances.

Since most moving companies operate on a cost-per-hour basis, common examples of unforeseen circumstances that can add to the final bill include traffic, elevators not working, delays getting keys, and/or working alongside other moving crews who are moving someone in or out of the same building. All of these circumstances will add additional time to the move, which means the customer pays more.

When customers opt into the FRE program, the estimated price is fixed and does not change.

There are limitations to the FRE program. Contact Budget Moves to find out more.
